JLE History

Family PictureLeon Wong is the Director of JL Enterprises and represents the 3rd generation of his family to run a business in the creative and art supply sector. At one point in the 1970s-90s; the larger family business was responsible for more than 70% of the beads and masks at Mardi Gras in New Orleans and other world renowned festivals.

Growing up around a business of manufacturing the ingredients of creativity; Leon was almost constantly at play. Imaginary scenarios with colorful characters were always being developed, played out, then reformed into even greater adventures. As his business school education and the natural course of life are inviting him to lead the family business; Leon continues to find his solace in creative play.

While other young business leaders might be developing their palate for single malt or sports cars; Leon remains passionate about creative expression. This passion will continue to guide JL Enterprises into the hearts and homes of millions of families in North America as the “Jelly Packs” quickly become a highlight of back-to-school shopping and extended visits to Grandma’s house.
